Sony, Epida Memory and Renesas have stopped production after the aftershock (earthquake) in Japan and government has decided to cut electricity to industry by 25%

In Japan, nearly one million people are without power and the aftershock measuring 7.4 has added to the woes of the people. Companies, which were planning to restart production slowly, have again suffered. The aftershock killed three people in the northeastern part of the country, which also bore the maximum brunt in the last month’s earthquake and tsunami. The earthquake also caused some radioactive water to be spilled out of the damaged nuclear reactor however, it has not added to the damaged that happened in the last earthquake.  Some of the organizations like Sony, Epida Memory and Renesas have stopped production. On the other hand government’s decision to cut electricity supply to industry by 2% has come under sever criticism from the industrial bodies.
