Georgia Association of Convenience Stores has undertaken an initiative of lighting retrofit program and has utilized the fund for retrofitting more than 30 convenience stores in the state of Georgia


Georgia Association of Convenience Stores has undertaken an initiative of lighting retrofit program and has utilized the fund for retrofitting more than 30 convenience stores in the state of Georgia. The association has received funds from the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority(GEFA) which is a division of Energy Resources, the DOE Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy office. GACS made lighting retrofits from T12 to T8. It has also changed some of the lights to LED lights.
