Researchers from Johns Hopkins University have found a new way to stop the spread of Cancer

Researchers from Johns Hopkins University have found a new way to stop the spread of Cancer. This also means they can effectively treat the dreaded disease. The researchers found that when cancer cells get densely packed they secrete two proteins that deliver a stark message to other cells to go away. This causes the cancer cells to break off from the pack and float through the blood stream or lymphatic system to other sites and start growing afresh. This can effectively treat 90% of cases where in death happens because cancer spreads by breaking off from the point of origin. Hasini Jayatilaka, lead author of the study published in Nature Communications, hails from Sri Lanka.
